Here's an update to the story I wrote about the student at Arkansas State who wasn't allowed to play basketball unless he wore Adidas shoes:
Adidas said it will not require Arkansas State basketball player Jerry Nichols to wear its shoes, but hopes that he will accept an offer to look through its footwear collection in an attempt to find a suitable product.I think that's a nice gesture, but it's a shame they had to make it.
