I thought since I was posting pictures, I'd post a new one of myself. I think they caught my good side, don't you?

We were thinking of this outfit for New Years. Any thoughts? Doesn't he look pleased with it?

This is my only "child of fur", Bandit. Isn't he precious? He does miss his big brother Bubba, though!

I would like to make an announcement at this time:

BCS SUCKS BIGTIME!!!

Not only did Missouri get sidelined for the big game, pushed down to a second tier bowl game, but their archrival Kansas *spit* gets to play in the Orange Bowl against Virginia Tech. Kansas did not even make it to the Big 12 Finals! That totally sucks. Now I remember why I hate college football.

I was gonna post a few pictures tonight, but Blogger is not cooperating with me. Oh well, you'll just have to wait!

Anybody wanna buy a blog?

My blog is worth $4,516.32.
How much is your blog worth?

Just for the record, regarding that last post, if I normally had that much money in my account, I wouldn't have qualified for the Pell Grant. Morons.

Hi everybody! I realize it's been a long time, but I have been very busy. I'm currently on a two-week break from classes (Algebra 2 and World Religions) and am slowly decompressing. For some reason, I just can't seem to get these algebra equations. I did so well in high school, but now it just seems like gibberish...I guess I'm getting old.

I hope everyone had a blessed and glorious Christmas. We had a very quiet day. We stayed at home and watched movies, then had TV dinners to eat. Our daughter's family has the flu or we probably would have been invited over there. Of course, I didn't hear about this until I called them to say Merry Christmas. (snap at ya, daughter!). I have yet to hear from the boy-child and his family. I do know the boys got their gift cards, though. I have the best grandchildren in the world. They don't want presents; they want gift cards so they can shop for themselves! How great is that?

I finally received my money from school. The student loans covered the cost of my next two sets of classes, and the Pell Grant finally came through as well. So I received a mongo check for Christmas. It's still sitting here, however. My bank, which I've dealt with for nearly twenty years and have my home financed through, wouldn't cash it for me. I don't normally have that much in my account, you see, and they intimated that they weren't sure the check was real!!

I'm now shopping for another bank. I refuse to be called by a liar by anyone and let them get away with it. Of course, they would take the check and hold it for two weeks, or they could send it for collection for a small fee of $60.00! I'm not paying anyone, especially them, for the privilege of using my own money! If the check has to be held for processing, it won't be by someone like that. They know me at that bank, and know I would never try to scam them like that. I hate this county.
