This is a hoot! Apparently, it is newsworthy now when the Bambi family goes out to get snowcones. Funny, when I was a kid we had them all the time. They weren't "Hawaiian delicacies"; we got them off the ice cream truck that ran through the neighborhood. I liked the blue ones best.

I never cared much for sno-cones, but I guess that Pearl, Mississippi is part of Hawaii, too. Really, I think that I disliked them because of the terrible music the sno-cone man played from his beat-up van.
