On Wednesday, August 20, the world lost a great man. Capt. Ed Freeman passed away at the age of 80. The name of this Medal of Honor recipient may not ring a bell with some, but if you've seen the movie We Were Soldiers, you'll recognize the name "Too Tall".
Yep, that was him. A true hero in a war nobody wanted, yet far too many served in and died trying to win. Too bad they weren't allowed to finish the job properly, and then were treated like crap when they got back. Captain Freeman, may you rest in peace, sir. You have truly earned it.
