I'm glad I don't have to decide this case:
A Greek court has been asked to draw the line between the natives of the Aegean Sea island of Lesbos and the world's gay women. Here's a challenge for you: If they aren't to be called lesbians any more, what should they be called? Feel free to post your ideas in the comments.
Three islanders from Lesbos - home of the ancient poet Sappho, who praised love between women - have taken a gay rights group to court for using the word lesbian in its name.
Comments:
How about "Skee-Jees"?
That's taken from the famous Tsukiji (pronounced "skeejee") Fish Market in Tokyo. Makes at least as much sense as "Lesbians."
