Grandma's House

Those who know me and Sir Mugley know we have had a football bet every season for at least ten years. We do it a little differently than most, however; we each pick two or three teams and follow them throughout. The only teams we cannot choose are the two here in the Show-Me State. It doesn't matter whether our teams win or lose at all; the only thing that matters is the number of points they can rack up. Well, the season's over now, and for only the second time since we've been keeping score, Sir Mugley won. He went with two different teams this year, unfortunately they were Philadelphia and Jacksonville. I went with my two regulars who had been doing fairly well for me: Baltimore and Minnesota. I may have to rethink my loyalty for next year. Anyway, his teams accumulated 107 more points than did mine, so I was forced to pay the gloater. Boo Hoo.
