Grandma's House

Well, I must say I'm disappointed with the way the elections turned out. Some very good people were voted out of office, and the stem cell initiative was passed. I was listening to the radio today, and it was unbelievable how much gloating was going on. It really was inappropriate, considering several of the Democratic wins were by a very small margin. It wasn't exactly a blowout by any means. However, they did regain control of the House of Representatives, and probably the Senate as well. They would do well to elect someone besides Pelosi to serve as Speaker, however. They should select someone who is a little less caustic and could work with the other side of the aisle. I will say "congratulations" to the winners, and pray that they find a way to work together to accomplish something that will help our country, and not spend the next two years fighting over nonsense.
