Ladies and gentlemen, Rummy lives! Donald Rumsfeld has agreed to stay on as Secretary of Defense. I couldn't be happier about this. I hope you are, too. He has done a very good job so far, and I like how straightforward he is with the press. He does seem to keep them in their place. Something which probably should happen more often.
