Grandma's House

Hello, and welcome to any and all new readers. I'm taking a slow night tonight. When you're on liquid oxygen 24/7, and live in the country, it is delivered on a regular schedule. In my case, it's every two weeks. My driver brings two large tanks of liquid oxygen for me to use. If I have to go out, I have a small portable tank, which I can fill from the large ones. Now, I said all that to say this. Sometimes, when you're on the go, or not, you can't always tell how much is left in the large tank to know when to switch to the other one. Sometimes you run out during the night. This is what happened to me last night. In my situation it isn't life threatening when that happens, at least I've never been off long enough for it to be. However, I do develop very very nasty migraine headaches when I run out like this. I've had it happen before, but never to the extent it happened today. Unfortunately, I had run out of my heavy duty pain killer, so I've been treating it with Tylenol. That's like trying to put out a forest fire with spit. So, you won't be getting much blogging from me tonight. But I'll still be collecting stories to bring you tomorrow night. While you're waiting, check out the blogroll.
