Colorado smokers beware! You are about to get slammed with a new tax. The Colorado legislature has approved a new tobacco tax, which will raise the tax on a pack of cigarettes from 20 cents to 84 cents, raising the price for a carton of cigarettes by about $6.50. You might want to stock up before the end of the year.
