UPDATE: As of now, 8 dead, and 48 wounded at the U.S./Iraqi base in Ramadi. No word yet on whether U.S. soldiers were among the dead or wounded.
A car bomb exploded outside the gates of a U.S. base in the western Iraqi city of Ramadi on Saturday, and there were many casualties, The Associated Press reportedNo word yet on number of casualties.
