The ratings for the Virginia-based Al Hurra television station are in for February, and it looks good, according to Fox news. The station broadcasts on the same satellite as Al Jazeerah, and reaches several countries in the Middle East. Apparently the survey showed 20 percent of the homes contacted tuned in to the station during the ratings period. There was also good news for the area radio station, Radio Sawa, which has been on the air for only two years. The managers of the station are ecstatic that the listening audience has grown far beyond their hopes in such a short time.

Between these stations, and the work that's going on through Spirit of America to raise money for more television stations in Iraq, it looks hopeful that we can get the message of freedom through all the junk spewed forth by Al-Jazeerah. Be sure to check out the Spirit of America website and make a donation if you possibly can.
