Grandma's House

Congressman Jim McDermott of Washington took his turn to lead the Pledge of Allegiance yesterday, with a twist. Contrary to law, the Congressman refused to put his hand over his heart, and left out the words "Under God" in the pledge. In my opinion, this is disgraceful. He is supposed to be representing the people of Washington, and I don't believe they would do the same thing in his position. He should be censured by his peers for this travesty.
